IWGSC published the 17th of August in the international journal Science a detailed description of the genome of bread wheat, the world’s most widely cultivated crop. The Science article is entitled "Shifting the limits in wheat research and breeding using a fully annotated reference genome".
The Alaux et al. Genome Biology companion paper "Linking the International Wheat Genome Sequencing Consortium bread wheat reference genome sequence to wheat genetic and phenomic data" describes the Wheat@URGI portal including all the IWGSC data repository resources and how we link the reference sequence to genetic and phenomic data.
